Kathleen Hassan is on a mission to transform the self-esteem of girls and women worldwide. For over a decade, Kathleen has been inspiring teen girls and women of all ages to dare to become all they were born to be, to unlock their personal power towards self-confidence and success.
As a Life Coach, trained by The Coaches Training Institute, Theta Healer, Reiki Master, Hypnotherapist trained and certifed by the National Guild of Hypnotists, and Certified Angel Messenger as a conduit for divine guidance, Kathleen uses all of her gifts, skills and talents to help others dare to shine their light and emerge into their full potential.
Her message of self-worth, vision and personal power comes from her real-life experience of turning tragedy into triumph and obstacles into opportunities. Her own life’s lessons have become the foundation and core philosophy of her business which is based on love, compassion and a deep commitment to help people create a balanced life of peace, prosperity and true happiness.
Kathleen’s greatest joy is helping kids shine their light. She has a passion for working with teens, especially teenage girls. Surviving the loss of her dad when she was ten and her mother when she was sixteen makes her uniquely qualified to help kids better handle the challenges of adolescence amidst adversity. Kathleen doesn’t just talk the talk, she lives it! All of her hard-earned life lessons have helped others heal and realize their power to create a life they love. Kathleen’s Mother/Daughter programs have received rave reviews from the event planners, the moms and the girls too! Kathleen co-founded the Extreme Dreams for Teens Mother Daughter Conferences and now offers those workshops and trainings as The Mother/Daughter Alliance.

Kathleen has developed and delivered programs on the topics of self-esteem, leadership, attitude, stress management and the power of choice. An Editor and Contributor for the Dove Self-Esteem Fund, Kathleen’s articles are inspiring women and girls around the globe. She is the author of Girls’ Voices… Good Choices, a curriculum for teenage girls. She is the co-author of an anthology book entitled The Burning Heart of a Difference Maker and recently wrote a tip booklet for high school students entitled College Bound: How to Write a Winning College Essay. Kathleen is also the author of two audio learning programs called Tuning In: Inspiration for Transformation and If You’re Happy & You Know It: Feeling Your Way Back to Joy, and is currently writing a book for teen girls entitled Loving the Girl in the Mirror: Reflections of Your True Self. Author and producer of a monthly electronic newsletter – Shine! which goes out to over 1500 subscribers.
In 1998, as the host and producer of a year-long cable series The Bright Side, she was awarded the Best Series Award from the New England Women in Cable & Telecommunications. She has been a regular guest appearing on many local shows including Channel 5’s Chronicle, and is a consultant and producer of several programs on teen self-esteem. Kathleen has been a guest DJ on GRLZ RADIO and her DJ Kat Confidence Tips continue to air regularly on the station’s programming.
Kathleen has received praise and acclaim from principals, politicians and parents but her greatest honor by far has been the outpouring of admiration from the youth themselves. Here are just two examples:
